I am so excited to tell you today about one of my favorite Charlotte Mason resources! A Charlotte Mason Companion by Karen Andreola has been my companion through 9 of our nearly 12 years of homeschooling. This is the book I turn to again and again when I'm trying to figure out the how of Charlotte Mason homeschooling. Who better to write about how to implement this wonderful method?! Karen and her husband Dean were the ones who brought Charlotte Mason to the US when they published her original homeschooling series several years ago! I'm SO grateful that they found this method, and have shared it with me. It really is because of them that I'm using this method with my children. Thank you, Andreolas!!!
Here is what I said about this book on our bookstore's website:
"This was the first ‘how to’ book I read on educating my children the “Charlotte Mason way.” I knew a bit about the method, but this put the application in plain language that was so easy for me to follow. I had many “Aha!” moments as I read the book..."

Dear Sue Pruett,
It is encouraging to find that you are implementing Charlotte Mason's principles in your home. Your "Aha moments" are something I can relate to. Isn't it uplifting to have those? But then it is time to work them out, which sometimes requires a little trial and error. But how wonderful when the method makes a tidy fit, to see the children learning with keen interest.
Thank you for ministering to mothers with a friendly goodwill and telling them about "Charlotte Mason Companion" as well as the other books I've written. Thank you, also, for making the book available for purchase.
Perhaps I'll be able to thank you in person some day. For now, it is a pleasure to meet you through blogging.

Karen,
How humbling to see that you have read my little attempt at encouraging those on the homeschool journey. Yes, the trial and error do happen, but it is wonderful when I find what works with my own children!
It would be a thrill to meet you someday, so I can thank you personally for making my own homeschooling journey much more joyful.
