Hello! Here's another newbie question for you! What is note booking and how do you do it?

I just want to encourage you to keep up with this blog that is a wonderful encouragement and resource to me and many others. I run into people that follow my husbands work diligently, yet I never see/read comments from them. My point? This site is a blessing to many that may never make a comment. But we are out here!

God bless you, and thank you for answering my questions!

Dina,

I'm sorry I've taken so long to reply - crazy life!

Notebooking is a great activity for your children! It is a nice break from the traditional narration or craft activities. You can find a much more thorough explanation of it at the Notebooking Pages website (just click on the banner to the upper left to get there). Here is a brief explanation - it's basically having your student take what he/she has learned in a lesson, and making a pretty (or cool for the boys!) page that shares that information. You can have your student even do their copy work on a decorated page, and that is notebooking. Well, I guess it's notebooking once you put that great page in their notebook.

I hope that brief explanation peaks your curiosity to check it out!
