Well, we had a fantastic time last weekend sharing with the homeschool group in Carbondale, IL! It was our first time to the area in many years, and the first time to meet with the homeschoolers there. What a delightful group!
Larry snapped this picture while I was preparing to speak Friday night, making sure I had all my notes in order! The tree was NOT strategically placed, was it?! I introduced a Charlotte Mason education in this meeting - though I discovered there were some ladies there who had been using CM methods for quite some time!
On Saturday Jenny (our hostess) put together a lovely brunch for us to share in while we were visiting. She brought out her beautiful rock collection to share with us! Fascinating to look at!

We had a wonderful time visiting and getting to know each other better over a delicious brunch. The discussion was very lively!
