Chris Klicka's Memorial Service

Well, I was just reading the Caring Bridge site for Chris Klicka, and saw that his memorial service is being planned for about two weeks from now.  The faith and trust in the Lord that Traci and the family are demonstrating are so amazing to see – and encouraging to me to keep the faith, myself!

I don’t think most Americans are aware of all that they owe to this man, who worked so tirelessly – and fearlessly! – for their freedoms.  The cost of freedom is diligence to keep that freedom protected, and he did this so well!  I don’t think I’ll ever comprehend all he did, but I am the beneficiary for it every day that I teach my children, and have the freedom to express my faith openly and publicly. 

 

I’ll be continuing to read the Caring Bridge site for updates, and I encourage you to do the same – it’s a great tribute to Chris and his Lord, and Traci is an amazing, strong woman – it’s doing me good to see her faith remain strong.
